If the unit starts working with the remote transmitter, we will need to recalibrate the exit sensor. If you are using a vehicle sensor, disconnect the white wire that goes to“open” at the “hard wired Inputs” terminal and the red wire that goes to ” + ” on the “lock ” terminal.If you do have a exit vehicle sensor we need to re-calibrate If the problem persists, the exit sensor might have a defect.If the problem continues, try to relocate the sensor if possible.Turn the system on and retest to verify the sensor is working properly.Reconnect the white wire from the exit sensor back to the “open” terminal (Note: Sensor must be buried a minimum of 12 inches below the surface).Leave the sensor undisturbed (not allowing any moving metallic objects around the sensor) for approximately 10 minutes. Reconnect the red wire to the Lock + terminal. In order to recalibrate the exit sensor, first make sure the system is turned off.Allow the system to sit idle for approximately 10 minutes with the white and red wires still disconnected.
